Our Journey
The flagship San Diego workshop started in 1989 as W.I.F.E.org - an acronym for Womens Institute for Financial Education - a resource primarily for the stay at home wife confronted with divorce and needing information and help.
As society has evovled, so too has our name and our mission to be more inclusive - to help everyone through this life event.
Second Saturday has helped thousands of people while raising nearly $400,000 for the San Diego community in the form of scholarships and educational programs. Building on the success in San Diego, Second Saturday Divorce Workshops are now sponsored all over the country, helping to empower even more individuals and families.
Second Saturday is a Not For Profit organization. We offer unbiased, financial, emotional and legal advice by qualified local professionals with related credentials - helping you to make the best decisions for your particular situation.
